Para alegría de las frioleras como yo, este invierno las prendas de punto están de moda. Ya no tenemos que pasar frío, luciendo tops finitos para estar en la última, en todas las tiendas podemos encontrar ropa de punto de todo tipo de colores y modelos. El punto es un must, no solo en prendas, así que nosotros también nos hemos unido a la moda y hemos hecho colgantes y broches con arcilla polimérica FIMO, imitando la textura del tejido de punto.

 

Ahora que Navidad está cada vez más cerca y estamos buscando regalitos para nuestros más allegados, un detallito hecho de punto sería el regalo perfecto. Ya estamos en Diciembre de nuevo, el mes más mágico del año, el más frío y al mismo tiempo el más caliente. En mi familia siempre lo hemos celebrado como la época más especial del año. El recuerdo que tengo desde pequeña es el olor de pino, naranja y canela, la chimenea encendida, luces, brillo en los ojos, nieve en la ventana, regalos debajo del arbol... Diciembre es algo que termina y algo que empieza. Es el més de la esperanza, la nostalgia y la alegría, de los reencuentros con viejos amigos, la vuelta al hogar, de las sorpresas y las ilusiones. Diciembre es eternidad.

En estos últimos años la Navidad se ha convertido en una fiesta más bien comercial, se ha perdido la esencia y el espíritu navideño. Lo que a mí me enseñaron de pequeña es que no es importante la cantidad y el precio de los regalos que vas a dar o recibir, si no el detalle, el cariño y el amor con los que están hechos. Por que muchas veces el valor que tiene un simple detallito vale mucho más que cualquier fortuna. Por que los regalos que se hacen desde el corazón duran para siempre...

It's Decembre again, the most magical time of the year, the coldest and the warmest at the same time. My family has always celebrated Chistmas holidays as the most special ones. When I think of December, what comes to my mind is the smell of pine, oranges and cinnamon, the heat of the fireplace, lights, sparkling eyes, snow on the window, presents under the tree... December is the beginning and the end. It's the month of hope, nostalgia and happiness, the month of dreams and surprises, meetings with old friends again, returns back home. December is eternity.

During the last years, it seems that Christmas has become a commercial holiday, we have lost the essence and the Christmas spirit. When I was a child, my family showed me that it's not important the price or the quantity of presents you are going to give or receive, what really matters is the attention, the care and the love with which they are made. Because sometimes little gifts have more value than most expensive things. Because presents that are made from the heart last forever...

Hoy tenemos un vestido y dos propuestas, os enseñaré cómo con el mismo vestido y collar podemos conseguir un "working look" para el día y un look "afterwork" para cuando salimos a tomar algo después del trabajo. He elegido un vestido en color burgundi (de BLANCO), el color de moda de este otoño, y un collar con flores en burgundi y dorado (de NM Designs). Si le añadimos a este vestido unas manoletinas del mismo color (MARYPAZ) y un bolso minicity (ZARA), tenemos la combinación perfecta para ir a trabajar. Y para conseguir un look "afterwork" es necesario solo cambiar las manoletinas por unos Stilettos negros con detalles cut-out (MARYPAZ) y un sobre de mano en color burgundi (ZARA). Y a disfrutar de la fiesta...

Hi! Today I will show you two possible combinations with the same dress and the same necklace, you will see how using different accessories, you can get a "working" look or an "afterwork" look. I have chosen a structured dress in burgundy by BLANCO and a statement flower necklace in berry red and gold (by NM Designs). If we add a pair of ballerina shoes in burgundy (MARYPAZ) and a black minicity bag by ZARA, we have a perfect outfit for a day at the office. Replacing the ballerina shoes with a pair of cut-out black Stilettos (MARYPAZ) and the minicity bag with a portfolio bag, we get an eye-catching "afterwork" look. Hope you like both combinations!

Nuestra propuesta de "GET THE LOOK" hoy es de un look muy casual. El estampado animal sigue otro año muy presente en las colecciones de las marcas de moda. He elegido un vestido de gasa con estampado de serpiente de MANGO y lo he combinado con unos botines con flecos de MARYPAZ, los flecos vienen pisando fuerte esta temporada. Para terminar el look, he elegido un collar de la nueva colección de NM Designs, las diferentes formas de las bolas y los tonos grises, amarillos, blancos y un toque de negro encajan a la perfección con el todo el outfit. Espero que os guste la combinación!

We have a casual look proposal in today's "GET THE LOOK" section. I have chosen a snake print dress by MANGO, by the way the animal print is once again present in the leading fashion brands' collections. I have combined the dress with a pair of fringe ankle boots by MARYPAZ, fringes are IN this season as well. As a finishing touch to today's casual look, I have added a short necklace by the new collection of NM Designs, its mixture of different shapes and color beads, mainly in grey, yellow, white and black match perfectly the whole outfit. Se acercan las Navidades y con estas fechas vienen las cenas de empresa, las fiestas, las celebraciones... y empezamos a buscar qué nos podemos poner para estas ocasiones. La propuesta del "GET THE LOOK" de hoy es genial para una cena de empresa, por ejemplo Es el perfecto look "after work" (o look "después del trabajo"). Hemos combinado un "little black dress" de MANGO (o vestido corto negro), que nunca debe faltar en el armario de una mujer, con unos zapatos de tacón de charol (MARYPAZ) y un bolso cruzado, también de charol (MANGO). Y para resaltar sobre este fondo negro, he elegido el collar y pendientes "Baroque" (NM Designs) que combinan a la perfección con el detalle del encaje del vestido. Espero que os guste!

Buenas, hoy os presento un collar nuevo, "Radiant Orchid Dreams", que tiene un diseño diferente a los que suelo hacer. Esta primavera, el Instituto Pantone anunció que el color Radiant Orchid (u ORQUÍDEA RADIANTE) va a ser el color del año para este 2014, es una mezcla entre rosa, fucsia y morado. Al principio pensé que es un color más de primaver y verano, pero he visto muchas propuestas de diseñadores de moda que lo incluyen en sus diseños para el invierno, usando tonalidades más oscuras. Para hacer este collar me he inspirado en el modelo del diseñador Fausto Puglisi (ver la foto), que ha combinado la falda con colores block y la camiseta con estampado de telaraña negra sobre base blanca. Como siempre, el collar está hecho 100% a mano con arcilla polimérica FIMO, el diseño y la mezcal de colores dan la posibilidad de hacer muchas combinaciones. Espero que os guste!

Buenas! Hoy nuestra propuesta de "GET THE LOOK" es un "working girl" look, muy apropiado para la oficina y muy cómodo para pasar todo el día trabajando. Unos pantalones ancho y camisa básica de gasa, y como siempre prestando mucha atención a los accesorios con un collar de cadena y lágrimas, unos Stilettos y un bolso tote. Predominan los colores azul y gris, unos de los colores de moda este invierno, según el Instituto Pantone. Espero que os guste!

Buenas! Hoy tenemos un look muy otoñal en el que no podía faltar el poncho que tanto se lleva esta temporada. Olivia Palermo, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cara Delevingne son unas de las famosas e It Grils que lo han lucido en la calle. Nuestra propuesta de hoy incluye un poncho jacquard en tonos beige y marrón de STRADIVARIUS, lo hemos combinado con unos pantalones elásticos negros Push Up, también de STRADIVARIUS y un jersey básico negro cuello alto de BLANCO. Y como siempre prestamos mucha atención a los accesorios, el collar "Africa" de nuestra colección de Otoño 2014, con motivos de estampado animal en tonos marrón, combinaría a la perfección. Por cierto, el estampado animal es otra tendencia que sigue estando de moda un año más. Incluso, si nos quitamos el poncho, el collar resaltaría aún más y transformaría el look básico negro en un look que llama mucho la atención. Y para terminar, hemos elegido unas botas altas con tachuelas y una cartera de mano con borla, ambas cosas de MARYPAZ. No sé si os habéis fijado que ultimamente elijo siempre los productos de esta casa (MARYPAZ), tienen una gran variedad de productos para todos los gustos y ocasiones, y cuentan con una calidad y diseño irrepetibles. Hi everyone! In our fall look proposal today, we couldn't miss to include the famous "poncho", the hit this season. Olivia Palermo, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cara Delevingne are some of the celebrities and It Girls who have included it in their closet. Buenas! Nuestra propuesta de hoy es de un "ladylike" look, look muy feminino, con toques de los años sesenta. Tenemos una falda vuelo midi de BLANCO, con mucho volumen, pero al mismo tiempo con un citurón ancho que realza la cintura y hace la figura de la mujer extremadamente feminina. La he combinado con una camiseta básica negra con mangas 3/4 de ZARA. Con este conjunto de colores sobrios, el énfasis cae sobre los accesorios, he elegido el collar y pulsera "Hearts Inspiration" de mi nueva colección de este otoño (NM Designs), que combinan los colores blanco, negro y fucsia. Unos Stiletto de punta fina en fucsia (MARYPAZ) dan un toque de color en los pies, y el clutch negro con estrellas blancas pone el último toque en el outfit. Es un look muy "ladylike", muy de los años 60, pero los accessorios le dan un aire juvenil y moderno. Espero que os guste!

Hi! We have a very "ladylike" look in today's "GET THE LOOK" proposal, it is very feminine and reminds me of the 60's fashion. We have a midi full skirt by BLANCO, it has a lot of volume, but at the same time, its wide belt highlights the waist and makes the woman's body extremely feminine. I have combined this skirt with a black basic T-shirt with 3/4 sleeves by ZARA. As you can see, the colors are quite dark, that's why  the emphasis is on the accessories, I have chosen the necklace and bracelet "Hearts Inspiration" from my new Fall Collection (NM Designs), they mix white, black and fuchsia. A pair of pointy toe Stilettos in fuchsia (by MARYPAZ) bring a touch of color on the feet, and the black clutch with white stars by MANGO puts the finishing touch to our look today. The result is a ladylike look, but at the same time, the colorful accessories give it a very young and modern touch. Hope that you like it!

Buenas! El collar y los pendientes que os muestro hoy estan inspirados en el estilo barroco, un estilo que se define por su excesiva ornamentación, de ahí el nombre del conjunto: "Baroque". El collar y los pendientes están hechos 100% a mano con arcilla polimérica FIMO, he elegido los colores dorado y negro, mezclándolos en algunas partes. He usado la técnica Soutache para su elaboración. Espero que os gusten!

Buenas! El look de hoy esta inspirado por el look que lució Olivia Palermo, una chica muy elegante y una de las "IT Girls" del momento, durante de las Semana de la Moda en Paris este Otoño 2014. La propuesta de hoy se acerca mucho a su look, y lo podéis conseguir a un precio muy asequible. Predomina el color burgundi, que parece que va a ser el color de este otoño. He elegido una falda charol (de ZARA) y un jersey cuello cisne (de MANGO), ambos en color burgundi. Para darle un contraste al conjunto, he añadido el collar y pendientes "Baroque" de mi nueva colección de Otoño (NM Designs), las formas Soutache en dorado y negro dan un aire al collar encaje que lleva Olivia Palermo en esta ocasión. Hi! Today's "GET THE LOOK" proposal is inspired by one of Olivia Palermo's outfits which she wore during the Paris Fashion Week this Fall 2014. She is one of the top IT Girls of the moment, and I personally love her style. Our look today is very similar to her style, and you can get it at a very affordable price. Burgundy is the color that prevails, it seems that it will be the color of this Fall. I have chosen a patent short skirt (by ZARA) and a wool-blend sweater (by MANGO), both in burgundy. I have added to this combination the necklace and earrings "Baroque" (by NM Designs) that bring some contrast to the whole outfit, and replace the gold-lace necklace of Olivia. Primer Showroom NM Designs en Hotel Spa La Laguna

Buenas! Quería compartir con vosotr@as un evento muy importante para mí, el Sábado pasado, 11 de Octubre tuvo lugar nuestro primer Showroom en Hotel Spa La Laguna (Ciudad Quesada), donde pudimos exponer nuestros diseños. La experiencia fue maravillosa, pasamos una tarde muy agradable y pude conocer y hablar con much@s de vosotros, con los que normalmente contactamos por las redes sociales y emails. Con ésto quiero dar las gracias a tod@s que acudieron al evento y también al Hotel Spa La Laguna por la organización. El lugar fue precioso y la compañía encantadora, deseando volver a repetir esta experiencia y a veros de nuevo...

Hi! Last Saturday, October 11, our first Showroom took place at Hotel Spa La Laguna (Ciudad Quesada), on which we presented our accessory's collections. It was a wonderful experience, we spent a very nice afternoon in a good company, and I could meet and talk with many of you, with whom I normally contact vía social media or emails. Buenas! Hoy tenemos un look muy "denim" en nuestra propuesta de "GET THE LOOK". Como ya sabéis, el denim, o el tejido vaquero, se vuelve a llevar mucho este otoño. Por éso hoy os enseño cómo podemos combinar unos vaqueros rasgados, con una camisa denim, ambos de BLANCO.Como os podéis imaginar, en este caso los accesorios son muy importantes para hacer de esta sencilla combinación un look que llama la atención. Pues bien, he elegido el colgante "Blue Whirls" en los tonos azul, celeste y blanco (NM Designs), los "remolinos" hechos con la técnica de soutache le dan un toque muy interesante. I would like to give you a hint of how you can combine jeans and a denim shirt (both seen at BLANCO). In this case, as you can imagine, the accessories have a very important role, they can transform this simple look into an aye-catching one. Broches/Brooches NM Designs

Buenas! Hoy os presento otro producto mío del que todavía no os había hablado: los broches. En realidad, nunca había pensado hacer broches con FIMO hasta que una amiga me encargó unos para hacer regalo. El resultado me encantó y decidí probar con más colores, formas y tamaños. Aquí os dejo fotos de unos con base de bronce y otros con base plateada, la forma de la base y el diseño que llevan por dentro son estilo "vintage", todos llevan motivos florales. Los colores y los diseños se pueden personalizar a gusto del cliente. Como dije antes, todos están hechos 100% a mano con arcilla polimérica FIMO... y con mucho amor. Espero que os gusten!

Hi! This post is dedicated to our brooch collection. If I have to be honest, I had never thought of making brooches, but one day a friend of mine asked me to design two brooches for her to give away as a present. I loved the result and decided to try some more colors, shapes and sizes. Below you can find several brooches from my brooch collection, with a bronze or a silver base, the shapes and the inner design have a "vintage" style, all of them have floral motifs. Clients have the possibility to customize the colors and the designs. All of the brooches are 100% handmade, made out of polymer clay FIMO. Hope that you like them!

Buenas! La propuesta del "GET THE LOOK" de hoy es un look muy otoñal. En el "Street Style" durante las pasarelas de este otoño se ha visto muchas combinaciones de jerseys de punto, un poco "oversize", y pantalones pitillo de cuero, y lo que nunca falta: zapatos de punta fina con tacones muy altos. Hoy he elegido un jersey de ZARA en color natural con un lazo en la espalda y unos leggings polipiel en color granate de BLANCO. De accessorios tenemos un collar corto con bolas en los tonos verde oscuro/dorado de NM Designs, unos zapatos Stiletto de punta fina con cordón (en color taupe) de MARYPAZ y un bolso bowling con cremalleras, también de ZARA (TRF). Hi! It's Fall already and today's "GET THE LOOK" proposal is very appropriate for these days. I have followed the "Street Style" of the celebs during the Fashion Weeks this Fall and I have noticed this new trend: a combination of knitted sweater ("oversize" in some cases), skinny leather trousers and pointy toe pumps. I have chosen a knitted sweater by ZARA (in natural color) with a back tie and a pair of imitation leather leggings by BLANCO (in burgundy). As usual, we pay special attention to the accessories, and this time we have a necklace in dark green and gold details by NM Designs, a pair of pointy toe Stilettos in taupe by MARYPAZ and a bowling bag with zips in burgundy (by ZARA TRF). El look es perfecto para un cocktail o para una salida de noche. El vestido que he elegido es un vestido estructurado de BLANCO, con un corte muy sencillo. Los zapatos que le acompañan son unos zapatos Stiletto con tiras en forma de "T" de MARYPAZ, negros también. Cuando nos ponemos un "little black dress", el énfasis cae sobre los accesorios. Buenas! Hoy os enseñaré los colores que se van a llevar este otoño/invierno según los diseñadores más influyentes. Cuando el Instituto Pantone sacó a la luz hace unos meses el informe de los colores de otoño/invierno 2014, ya ví que este año iba a ser algo diferente, en la gama de colores encotramos colores y combinaciones atípicos, que normalmente no relacionamos con la temporada de invierno.

Este año los diseñadores han combinado la belleza del pasado con el espíritu del presente, recreandolo en colores, texturas y estilo. El informe del Instituto Pantone sobre los colores de este otoño es un resumen de lo visto en Semana de la Moda en Nueva York  en Febrero 2014. Yo personalmente me alegro mucho de este cambio, ya que trabajar con colores me encanta, las posibilidades de combinarlas son infinitas, y éso da la oportunidad de que cada mujer pueda encotrar su propio "YO" en ellas.

Aquí os dejo unos bocetos que he encontrado en el informe del Instituto Pantone y los equivalentes a los colores de arcilla FIMO que usaremos esta temporada, como ya sabéis, todos nuestros modelos están hechos 100% con arcilla polimérica FIMO.

Buenas! Hoy os quiero enseñar cómo podemos conseguir dos looks con las mismas prendas, simplemente cambiando un par de accesorios. Es para estos días que llevamos todo el día metidas en la oficina, pero al final del día salimos a tomar algo con amigos o a cenar con nuestra pareja. En el look de hoy predomina el color fucsia, un color que me encanta por cierto, le da un toque de frescura y alegría al conjunto. El collar que he elegido es "Persian Fantasy" (NM Designs), lleva estampados Paisley en fucsia y menta sobre una base blanca, el contraste es precioso. Lo he combinado con un vestido jacquard en fucsia de BLANCO y una americana blanca de MANGO, para las mañanas y las tardes cuando refresca. Por cierto, no sé si seguís la Semana de la Moda en Nueva York, pero la americana blanca es un "MUST" en el Street Style este otoño. 

Para el look de día os propongo una combinación con unas manoletinas con tiras en forma de T con strass de MARYPAZ y un minicitybag bicolor en blanco y negro de ZARA. Y para conseguir el look de noche, simplemente nos cambiamos las manoletinas por unos sapatos de salón (MARYPAZ) y un bolso solapa en tricolor (blanco, fucsia y negro) de BLANCO. Espero que os hayan sustado las dos combinaciones!

Hi everyone! Today I would like to show you how we can achieve a day-time look and a night-time look by simply changing some of our accessories. It is for those days when we spend the whole day in the office and at the end of the day we go out to have some drinks with friends or to have dinner with our partner. In our look proposal today, fucshia is the "star color", by the way I love this color, it gives such a fresh touch to the whole outfit. I chose our "Persian Fantasy" necklace (NM Designs), it has fucshia and mint Paisley patterns on a white basis, I find this contrast gorgeous. I have combined this necklace with a fuschia jacquard dress by BLANCO and a white cotton blazer by MANGO. By the way I don't know if you follow the New York Fashion Week, but white blazer is a MUST on the Street Style this season.

For the day-time combination I would chose a pair of ballerina shoes with strass details by MARYPAZ and a two-tone mini city bag by ZARA; and for the night-time we can just change the ballerina shoes with a pair of black heeled shoes (MARYPAZ) and a three-tone flap portfolio bag by BLACO. I hope that you like both proposals!

"Pink Lace" NM Designs

Buenas! Como ya os he ido contando en posts anteriores, me apasionan las joyas hechas con la técnica Soutache. Hoy os enseño mi último proyecto que hice con la misma técnica, pero usando arcilla polimérica FIMO en vez de cordón Soutache. Es un poco difícil conseguir las formas y el grosor de los hilos de arcilla, ya que todo se hace manual, sin la ayuda de una máquina extrusora, pero nada es imposible. El colgante que os enseño hoy, esta hecho con dos colores de pasta FIMO: rosa quarzo y blanco brillante. Su forma se parece mucho a las formas de encaje, de ahí su nombre "Pink lace". Hi! As I have already commented in older posts, I'm fascinated by the Soutache jewelry. The project that I'm showing you today is made following the same technique, however, instead of thread, I have used polymer clay FIMO to achieve the same effect. I confess, it's a bit difficult to get the same forms and thickness of the clay "snakes" without the extruder machine, but nothing is impossible. I have used two FIMO colors: pink quartz and glitter white, and the pendant resembles the forms of a lace, that's where its name comes from: "Pink lace". Buenas! Después de dos semanitas de vacaciones volvemos con una nueva propuesta en la sección "GET THE LOOK", y no podía ser otra que una propuesta para la vuelta al trabajo. Me ha gustado mucho la nueva colección de STRADIVARIUS, de ahí he elegido las prendas para el look de hoy. He combinado una falda evasé de flores con una camiseta blanca con detalles de puntilla, sin que falte el cinturón rojo para más contraste al conjunto y también para realzar la cintura. He combinado este outfit con un collar largo con detalle corazón en negro y dorado (NM Designs), unos slippers con tachuelas de MARYPAZ y un bolso tote de MANGO. Hi everyone! After a two-week break we are back again with a new look proposal in our "GET THE LOOK" section, and it couldn't be any other but a "back-to-work" look proposal. I love the new Fall/Winter 14 collection by STRADIVARIUS, from which I have chosen some clothes for our look today. We have a floral print A-line skirt, a white top with lace edging details and a red patent belt, giving contrast to the whole outfit. I have combined that with the following accessories: a black/gold heart pendant from my last winter collection (NM Designs), a pair of stud slippers by MARYPAZ and a tote black bag by MANGO. Buenas! Hoy nuestra propuesta de "GET THE LOOK" trae una prenda que ya se ha convertido en un básico - la camisa denim. Desde hace varias temporadas encontramos las camisas Denim en las colecciones de las marcas de moda. He combinado esta camisa (BLANCO) con unos shorts de crochet (STRADIVARIUS), el contraste que hacen las dos texturas me parece muy bonito. De accesorios he elegido un collar de mi collección Primavera/Verano (NM Designs) con motivos florales en color rosa cuarzo con cadena plateada. Todo este conjunto no podría ir sin unas sandalias en color nude de MARYPAZ y una cartera de mano en color gris clarito, también de MARYPAZ. Espero que os haya gustado la combinación. I have chosen a Denim shirt for our "GET THE LOOK" proposal today, Denim shirts have become basics in the last few seasons, and this autumn we can find them in the collections of most of the fashion brands again. I have combined the shirt (BLANCO) with a pair of crochet shorts (STRADIVARIUS), I find the contrast between these two textures very nice. Buenas! Esta tarde, en nuesta sección "GET THE LOOK" tenemos una propuesta para un look de fiesta. He elegido el collar "Primavera", es un collar de varios colores que hacen un contraste muy bonito y por otro lado, da la posibilidad de combinarlo con muchas prendas. En esta ocasión lo he combinado con un vestido plisado en color verde (de BLANCO), por cierto, unos de los pétalos de las flores del collar llevan el mismo verde. A este conjunto le he añadido unas sandalias en T y un sobre de mano en color fucsia de MARYPAZ, el mismo color que el centro de las flores. El contraste que hace es precioso. Buenas tardes! Hoy os enseñaré un collar nuevo que he hecho mezclando varios colores de arcilla polimérica FIMO. Los colores y la forma del estampado recuerdan mucho a los típicos estampados del folklore mexicano, pero al mismo tiempo, los triángulos dorados le dan un toque muy moderno y sofisticado. En estas fotos he combinado el collar "Fusión Azteca" con unas sandalias planas en T con estampado mexicano de MARYPAZ y un bolso bandolera con crochet, también de MARYPAZ. Para conseguir un look casual con toque azteca, he combinado estos accesorios con unos shorts vaqueros de BLANCO y un top básico palabra de honor. Hi everyone! Today, I would like to present you a new necklace that I have made blending several colors of polymer clay FIMO. The colors and the patterns remind me of the typical Mexican folk art prints, and at the same time, the gold triangles give the necklace some modern and sophisticated touch. In this photo session, I have matched the necklace "Fusión Azteca" with a pair of sandals with Mexican prints and a bag with crochet details, both by MARYPAZ. Buenas! Estamos en fechas de vacaciones y mucha gente está o está a punto de marcharse a la playa para desconectar un poco de la rutina diária. Hoy en nuestra sección "GET THE LOOK" tenemos unos pendientes y un brazalete con estrellas de mar que dan un toque muy playero a todo el outfit, son los pendientes Estrella de Mar (en turquesa y color melocotón) y el brazalete turquesa Estrella de Mar de mi colección "Fondo del Mar". Buenas! Hoy estoy con espíritu de blanco y azul, os presento un nuevo collar que hice con estampados Paisley (o Cachemir como se suele conocer también) en color menta, celeste y blanco. Está hecho con arcilla polimérica FIMO, he usado menta para la base y celeste y blanco para los estampados. El contraste de azul y blanco me encanta y es muy veraniego, lo he combinado con un bolso blanco y unas bailarinas en tonos azul y blanco, que también llevan estampados Paisley (ambos de MARYPAZshoes). El collar, las bailarinas y el bolso combinan a la perfeción, y de ropa... siempre que sea "total white" para tener un look perfecto!

Hi, I'm in a "White and Blue" mood today. I would like to show you a new necklace with Paisley prints in mint, light blue and white. It's made out of polymer clay FIMO, I have used mint for the base and white and light blue for the prints. I love the contrast between blue and white, and I think that it's very appropriate for the summer. Buenos días! La propuesta del "GET THE LOOK" de hoy es de un look algo más sofisticado. El mismo collar lo utilicé para un look más casual, pero hoy quería enseñaros que combinándolo con otras prendas y zapatos podemos conseguir una imagen totalmente distinta. He escogido un collar con motivos florales en tonos celeste y blanco, con una cadena plateada, y lo he combinado con una falda midi de ZARA, casi el mismo color que el collar, y un top péplum en color blanco de SUITEBLANCO. Para completar el look, he elegido unas sandalias plateadas de tacón alto de MARYPAZshoes y un sobre con solapa en color celeste, con detalles plateados, de STRADIVARIUS. I have previously used the same necklace for another look proposal, and what I wanted to show you today, is that if you combine it with different clothing and shoes, you can get a totally different image. Persian Fantasy NM Designs

Hola! En el post de hoy os hablaré sobre un collar nuevo que he hecho con estampados de Cachemir. Hace tiempo que me había fijado en este tipo de diseños, que me parecen preciosos, además es una tendencia que en las últimas temporadas se lleva mucho. Es un estampado con forma de gota de agua curvada popular en diversos tejidos utilizados para confeccionar corbatas y pañuelos, el nombre proviene de la región de Cachemira, India. En los países anglosajones cachemir se popularizó con el nombre Paisley, el nombre de un pueblo escocés. 

Como siempre, he usado arcilla polimérica FIMO para el diseño y las formas, está hecho con base de FIMO blanco brillante y diferentes diseños de cachemira en fucsia, color menta y amarillo. El contraste que hace es precioso, además se puede combinar con muchos colores. Aquí os dejo algunas fotos para que veais vosotr@s mism@s. Today's post is about a new necklace that I made with Kashmir patterns, I find these types of design gorgeous, and I have been thinking of making something like that for a long time, besides it has been a very hot trend in the last seasons. These shapes that resemble twisted teardrops, originally used on ties and shawls, have Indian origin, from the region Kashmir, but its western name derives from the town Paisley, in West Scotland.

Collar/Necklace "Mar Salada" NM Designs

Buenos días! El post de hoy va sobre un collar nuevo que intenté hacer usándo la técnica con sal. El collar se llama "Mar Salada", es un collar largo con bolitas que empiezan por color melocotón que poco a poco se va mezclando con el blanco, y del blanco se pasa gradualmente a color menta/turquesa. Una estrella de mar de color menta/turquesa le da un toque de contraste y originalidad. Es como si te imaginaras cómo la arena en la orilla se mezclase con las olas del mar. Mi principal idea era bañar las bolitas de FIMO y la estrella en sal, y después de hornear quitarsela para que se queden los huecos, pero al ver el efecto de la sal que le daba, como si pequeños cristalitos se habían incrustados en las bolas, me encantó y decidí dejarlos de esta forma. Aquí os dejo algunas fotos del resultado final, espero que os guste tanto como a mí. Hasta pronto!

Hi everyone! Today's post is about a new necklace that I made using the "salt technique". It's a long necklace, I called it "Mar Salada" or "Salted Sea" in English; I have mixed three colors for its beads, starting with peach color, blending it to white and then from white to mint/turquoise. A mint/turquoise starfish adds a touch of contrast and freshness to the whole necklace. Try to imagine it, it's like the sand on the beach blending with the waves. First, my idea was to roll the FIMO beads in salt and then remove it after baking, but then I loved the effect that the salt gave the beads, it is as if small crystals were embeded into them, so I decided to leave it as it is. Buenos días! En nuestro "GET THE LOOK" hoy tenemos un look muy playero, muy apropiado para estos calurosos días de vacaciones. He elegido el collar "Estrellas Marinas" de mi colección "Fondo del Mar" que está hecho con abalorios en color coral y estrellas marinas en color cuarzo azul, hechas a mano con arcilla polimérica FIMO. Para este collar he encontrado un vestido playero color coral de Calzedonia. Las zapatillas perfectas para este outfit serían unas sandalias planas con detalles coral de MARYPAZshoes que nos encantan. Buenas! El post de hoy es sobre mi última inspiración. Hace poco descubrí la técnica Soutache, es tan versátil, elegante y de aspecto lujoso... Me fascinó tanto que intenté ponerlo en práctica, pero en vez de hilo soutache y piedras he usado arcilla polimérica FIMO de Straedtler. La técnica es complicada, pero al mismo tiempo da muchas posibilidades para diseñar y crear. El collar que os enseño abajo, Summer Sunshine, lo hice guiándome por esta técnica, creo que el resultado es impresionante. He usado tres colores FIMO, para las "piedras" el color citrino, y para los "hilos" el color blanco brillante, cuarzo azul y cuarzo citrino. Es un poco dificil describirlo, así que os dejo algunas fotos del proceso de creación. Espero que el resultado final os guste tanto como a mí!

Hi everyone! Today's post on my blog is about my latest inspiration. I have recently discovered the Soutache jewelry, it's so versatile, elegant and luxury looking... I was so fascinated that I tried to put it in practice, but instead of soutache thread, beads and stones, I used polymer clay FIMO by +STAEDTLER Mars. The soutache technique is complicated, but at the same time it gives you a lot of freedom to design. The necklace below (Summer Sunshine) is made using this technique, and I think that the result is stunning. I have used three FIMO colors: citrin, for the "stones", and for the "threads" I have used glitter white, blue ice quartz and citrin again. It's difficult to describe, so I leave you some pics from the creation process, I hope you like the final result!

Buenos días! Ya estamos en Miércoles de nuevo y como de costumbre tenemos un nuevo look en nuestra sección "GET THE LOOK". El look de hoy es perfecto para una tarde de paseo por la playa o por el parque. He elegido un vestido blanco guipur, un sobre rafia con flores y una chaqueta denim para las noches más frescas, los tres de +Suiteblanco . A esta combinación he añadido el maxi collar Abalorios Colores Cupcake de mi colección Primavera/Verano, que lleva los mismos colores que las flores en el bolso y le da un toque de color al vestido blanco. Y para terminar nuestro look, he visto unas sandalias blancas de cuña de +MARYPAZshoes que me han encantado y creo que encajan a la perfección con todo el conjunto. I have added to this combination a statement necklace from my Spring/Summer collection (Collar Abalorios Colores Cupcake), it has the same colors as the flowers on the bag and it also brings a touch of color to the white dress. And as a finishing touch to today's look, I have picked up a white cork wedges by MARYPAZshoes, that perfectly match the whole combination.
