Buenas! El collar y los pendientes que os muestro hoy estan inspirados en el estilo barroco, un estilo que se define por su excesiva ornamentación, de ahí el nombre del conjunto: "Baroque". El collar y los pendientes están hechos 100% a mano con arcilla polimérica FIMO, he elegido los colores dorado y negro, mezclándolos en algunas partes. He usado la técnica Soutache para su elaboración. Espero que os gusten!

Hi! I would like to show you today the necklace and earring "Baroque", they are inspired by the Baroque style, a style which is known for its excessive ornamentation. They are 100% handmade with polymer clay FIMO, the colors are black and gold, and a mixture of them. For its making, I have used the Soutache technique. I hope that you like it!

Buenas! El look de hoy esta inspirado por el look que lució Olivia Palermo, una chica muy elegante y una de las "IT Girls" del momento, durante de las Semana de la Moda en Paris este Otoño 2014. La propuesta de hoy se acerca mucho a su look, y lo podéis conseguir a un precio muy asequible. Predomina el color burgundi, que parece que va a ser el color de este otoño. He elegido una falda charol (de ZARA) y un jersey cuello cisne (de MANGO), ambos en color burgundi. Para darle un contraste al conjunto, he añadido el collar y pendientes "Baroque" de mi nueva colección de Otoño (NM Designs), las formas Soutache en dorado y negro dan un aire al collar encaje que lleva Olivia Palermo en esta ocasión. Y para terminar el look, tenemos unos Stiletto de punta fina en color taupe (de MARYPAZ) y una cartera de mano en color burdeos, también de MARYPAZ. Espero que el look de hoy os guste! Hasta pronto!

Hi! Today's "GET THE LOOK" proposal is inspired by one of Olivia Palermo's outfits which she wore during the Paris Fashion Week this Fall 2014. She is one of the top IT Girls of the moment, and I personally love her style. Our look today is very similar to her style, and you can get it at a very affordable price. Burgundy is the color that prevails, it seems that it will be the color of this Fall. I have chosen a patent short skirt (by ZARA) and a wool-blend sweater (by MANGO), both in burgundy. I have added to this combination the necklace and earrings "Baroque" (by NM Designs) that bring some contrast to the whole outfit, and replace the gold-lace necklace of Olivia. As a finishing touch to our look, we have a taupe Stiletto shoes and a portfolio bag in burgundy, both by MARYPAZ. I hope you like the result! Till next time!

Buenas! El protagonista del "GET THE LOOK" hoy es el "little black dress" o el vestido corto negro que toda mujer debe tener en el armario. El look es perfecto para un cocktail o para una salida de noche. El vestido que he elegido es un vestido estructurado de BLANCO, con un corte muy sencillo. Los zapatos que le acompañan son unos zapatos Stiletto con tiras en forma de "T" de MARYPAZ, negros también. Cuando nos ponemos un "little black dress", el énfasis cae sobre los accesorios. En este caso he escogido un collar corto en color amarillo y detalles blancos y celestes (NM Designs), el collar esta hecho 100% a mano con arcilla polimérica FIMO, usando la técnica Soutache. El diseño y el color destacan sobre la sobriedad del vestido. Y para terminar el look, tenemos un sobre jacquard con abalorios (BLANCO). Espero que os haya gustado. Hasta la próxima!

Hi everyone! The protagonist of today's "GET THE LOOK" is the "little black dress", I think that all women should have one in their closet. This look is perfect for a cocktail party or for a night out with friends. I have chosen a structured black dress with a very simple cut by BLANCO. The shoes are a pair of black Stiletto with straps in a "T" shape by MARYPAZ. When we wear a "little black dress" our attention should focus on the accessories, they have a very important role to determine the whole look. I propose you a statement necklace in yellow, with white and light blue details, by NM Designs. The necklace is 100% handmade with polymer clay FIM. The Soutache design of the necklace stands out the sobriety of the black dress. And to finish our look today, we have a beaded jacquard portfolio bag by BLANCO. I hope you like the final result. "Pink Lace" NM Designs

Buenas! Como ya os he ido contando en posts anteriores, me apasionan las joyas hechas con la técnica Soutache. Hoy os enseño mi último proyecto que hice con la misma técnica, pero usando arcilla polimérica FIMO en vez de cordón Soutache. Es un poco difícil conseguir las formas y el grosor de los hilos de arcilla, ya que todo se hace manual, sin la ayuda de una máquina extrusora, pero nada es imposible. El colgante que os enseño hoy, esta hecho con dos colores de pasta FIMO: rosa quarzo y blanco brillante. Su forma se parece mucho a las formas de encaje, de ahí su nombre "Pink lace". Hi! As I have already commented in older posts, I'm fascinated by the Soutache jewelry. The project that I'm showing you today is made following the same technique, however, instead of thread, I have used polymer clay FIMO to achieve the same effect. I confess, it's a bit difficult to get the same forms and thickness of the clay "snakes" without the extruder machine, but nothing is impossible. I have used two FIMO colors: pink quartz and glitter white, and the pendant resembles the forms of a lace, that's where its name comes from: "Pink lace".
